a fascinating collection of old jewish theater posters unearthed in the NYC public library ‘digital’ vaults by ‘steven heller’

the typographic posters webite has been revamped (worth a visit if you ar enot familiar with this one)

we are currently busy getting the exhibition for january 2012 at the ‘poster museum’ organised, my work together with all of the photographers of course (like ‘ruud baan’ hiding in the middle of his own work here above) merely covers the past ten years of the ‘dutch national ballet’, the remaining fourty years still needs to sorted out and we are going to be opening up their own extensive archive in the coming weeks to see what we come across; really looking forward to that… if anybody knows of posters made by other designers from the period 1961 to 2002 i would love to hear from you… the only series i am familiar with is a graphic set by ‘gielijn escher’ from the late 70’s
