i have been busy updating the me studio behance in the past few weeks, for a good overview of recent work check here, the portfolio section of this site hasn’t been updated for more than a year now… time for a redesign i guess; in the meantime enjoy…
last thursday i attended the ‘items live’ event at the stedelijk museum featuring 75B (third time i’ve seen them talk in one month) and author of the wonderful ‘pig’ book christien meindertsma… the talk was loosely based round the idea that ‘failure is an option’ and although the moderator max bruinsma did a sterling job of interviewing both parties the link to the original theme felt rather tenuous at best… still even after two previous talks 75B again didn’t fail to inspire… we also heard that dutch design magazine items has now finally, after a long struggle gone bankrupt… sign of the times
had a great evening with the fontanel family and my old buddy luis mendo last night in rotterdam, discussing plans for the future of fontanel and generally talking shop, keep an eye on them they are going to be unveiling some exciting new plans and a revamped website very soon
i have been invited to do a short talk (6 minutes) later this evening at the ‘lloyd hotel’ during the ‘bonte avond’ in room 28 (free entry) the event includes a whole series of interesting artists and inspiring people (them not me) maybe see you there?
