i’ve been invited to do a short talk at the de bonte avond evening next friday (24th) in the lloyd hotel in amsterdam, organised on an irregular basis the evenings involve a mixed group of creative types doing acts, making things and generally having fun… plus its all free

born and bred in amsterdam: photographer philip mechanicus who died in 2005, will be the subject of an exhibition at the ‘jewish museum’ in amsterdam opening later this month, the exhibition promises to show a great deal of his early work shooting kids playing around the dilapidated city in the post war years
