the blog is going to be a bit slow for a while as we take a short break: so i will be posting some stuff that has been lying around for a while waiting to be posted…
starting with some of the work produced by my students at the ‘ecv’ art school in aix-en-provence, during a one week workshop back in april this year, it was great fun and they made some surprising work…
i was in the hague last night briefly to pick up a pile of wood, together with 40+ other designers and artists i have been given approx. 4 months to turn it into something interesting… we meet again in november when the results will all be exhibited somewhere and then auctioned off for a good cause…
…is the name of an upcoming exhibition in eindhoven at the piet hein eek gallery featuring work by none other than ‘anton beeke’ and a group of his former students… a book will also be released during the exhibition
the new dutch photography awards ‘so’ (for which i was an online jury member this year) have published a list of the nominees nominees, congrats to all concerned… and good luck :)
the dutch once again did very well at the annual ‘chaumont poster festival’ with niessen & de vries (above) taking a second place in the international competition, the type of work that does well at chaumont tends to be rather predictable to my mind… but nonetheless generally of high quality
