german publishing house ‘gestalten’ have just launched a dedicated font site/shop, it is currently still in beta and the fonts aren’t cheap but there are a few ‘gems’ hidden in there…

…beaches looked very different, a set of vintage pics providing insight into beach life over 100 years ago, that can’t have been much fun doing the crawl in a suit…
and while we’re on the subject of vintage photography, here’s a set of personal polaroids portraying the life of basquiat in the late eighties… but there’s really nothing very remarkable to see, the beach set is more fun…

thanks to ‘cpluv’ for reminding me to check back on spencer tunick, i’m sure not everybody is as enthusiastic about his art as i am, but it still remains an impressive sight to behold…
in fact i even took part in one of his images (shown above) in amsterdam back in 2007 together with my wife… it was a memorable experience: see this related post
