i’m making slow progress on my ‘greed’ poster for the graphic design festival in september, two weeks left before i have to enter it… i have also been invited to do a short lecture during the festival, to which i have said ‘yes’ despite not knowing what about exactly, we shall see
we’ve just completed a new line-up poster for the ‘sugar factory’ and have started working on a poster & campaign for a new client this week: a rather controversial foreign theater production taking place later this year in amsterdam, of which more news later this year…
two new posters for the dutch national ballet, firstly the ‘canta ballet’ shot with ‘erwin olaf’ late last week and a rehash of an older poster for ‘hans van manen’

a large collection of posters from the archives of the london film festival spanning a period of nearly 60 years, posted without any further information on the collection or the designers involved, what strikes me is the almost catalogue-like sequence of typical design styles and font choices from all of the periods featured… there are a few real gems here but for the large part they are pretty average at best, i find…
