photographer and writer ‘hans aarsman’ has launched a new visual blog to share his thoughts on imagery called fieldeye

update: an even better image of the ‘façade’ billboard from (kessels & aarsman) just arrived in my inbox, halfway through erecting the image, she looked like it was a bit less fun… (thanks to ‘claartje’ for the image)

the latest of the ‘façade’ billboards went up in amsterdam early today: a picture from a medical book, chosen by ‘erik kessels & hans aarsman’ as their ‘useful photography’ contribution to the project, next week the final one goes up and the book goes to print, this wide-mouthed lady one can be seen on the ‘spui’ in town…

a new image by the talented ‘ingrid baars’ as album artwork for singer/songwriter ‘iet’ very nice indeed…

here’s a few work in progress spreads from my ‘façade’ book design, the moment is rapidly approaching when i have to start thinking about colour profiles and how to send a huge folder of images to the printers on time…

the ‘re:frame’ recycled product exhibition will also be opening this coming friday, plus two new ‘façade’ billboards are going up in town this week… images of both also have to be placed in the book on time too… deadlines, deadlines… we have also got the chance to fill a bookshop display window in early october with the façade project too, which is good news… more news soon
