…a group of schoolchildren are in a serious discussion regarding the meaning of picasso’s painting, however we do not see the painting (the weeping woman, 1937) itself. the children are encouraged to look carefully at this artwork for prolonged periods and then discuss it, and it’s amazing what they come up with…

very nice image and poster for a new dutch documentary on one woman’s quest to have her ovaries frozen for later use, the documentary due to air on dutch TV next month was made by (and is all about) ‘marieke schellart’, the design is by ‘sander plug’ and the image by ‘eddo hartmann’
now showing at the V&A in london, one show i really want to see: shadow catchers, featuring a great deal of new names and for me, unknown work, there is also a book to accompany the show, if anyone goes please let me know what it was like… and if it’s worth the trip
