a bizarre story to start the year: a manillan politician unwittingly took a picture of the man who was about to assassinate him on new years’ eve, the police later arrested the man in question after a devasted family discovered the incriminating evidence… (with thanks to ‘janet deibert’)

it turns out that ‘yul brynner’ was not only an actor but also an enthusiastic photographer who spent a lot of time documenting his own unusual life and making candid shots of the celebrities that surrounded him

his daughter has recently compiled a book divided up into four parts entitled yul which looks really interesting to me or as the blub puts it: a sensational portrayal of a time without paparazzi documenting every celebrity’s move.


it doesn’t matter what forms we can imagine or create, nature has always been there first and done it way better…
