boy scouts, opera divas and african dance

last friday we had a shoot for the ‘amsterdam music theater’ jubilee campaign with photographer ‘jaap van den beukel’ in and around the building itself, the weather was merciful when we needed it to be and the images involved a young boy scout, a gospel singer, an opera diva, an orchestra conductor, various ballet dancers and irish/african/balkan dancers too, amazingly we finished even earler than planned, more news soon…

under our feet

british photographer ‘stephen wragg’ spends a lot of time pointing his camera at his own feet, or rather what is beneath his feet… walking men
he is gradually building a wonderful image archive of the unintentional character traits that appear in the official ‘walking man’ icon, when left to the interpretation of the human hand instead of a standard template, very nice… there are some fascinating odd-ball figures walking around all over the place in the united kingdom, but i already knew that…

stranger than fiction

i forget exactly where i came across the image (probably a news site) and it’s definitely old news by now… but i still wanted to share this incredible view of the recent ‘puyehue cordón caulle’ volcano eruption in chile, nature proving once again just how amazing it is and just how limited we are…
