mister jarr geerligs has updated the posters in amsterdam blog, if this is a good barometer of current trends then the graphic/illustration route seems to be more popular than ever right now (as opposed to say photography or more pure type-based stuff) which doesn’t necessarily result in stronger posters in my opinion…

last thursday i got to do a short interview with two interesting people: chris duffy, son of legendary photographer brian duffy and kevin cann official biographer to david bowie; both were briefly in amsterdam to open the bowie by duffy expo in foam and talk to the press…
it was great fun and i wrote a short article 3 questions for my friends at ‘fontanel’ which i will translate into english and post here next week (hopefully) as this one is dutch only…
