interesting online project which aims to provide an overview of old & forgotten historical street names of amsterdam, the map can be modified, corrected and added to by visitors
in a similar vein i recently discovered this real-time map of the local airplane decibels, which are often quite high in times of high wind such as the month of october/november

this is a bit of a baffling phenomenon: a series of prominent designers saying something profound or pretentious about design but then accompanied by a tune, anybody got a suggestion what purpose this could possibly serve?… nope me neither (thanks to ‘polly’ for the baffling tip)
