Crowdsourcing websites know this and take full advantage… tougher still perhaps for design firms who have many overheads and staff. Ultimately this is why they resort to working for free in the hope of landing a gig…

again this year i have been asked to do an introductory session for photography students from the kabk academy in the hague as part of their ‘network week’ together with my good friend lukas göbel, taking place on the 10th of november 2011 at the ‘eye’ film museum in amsterdam, the subject is ‘collaboration’ between photographers and art-directors…
incidentally i also did a talk (on the very same subject) earlier this year together with my mate ‘ruud baan’, which has just been uploaded to ‘me stuff’ here, although the quality is very poor and it is in dutch only…
