designers and avid collectors (of all kind of things): ‘herman van bostelen’ and ‘martin engelbregt’ are bringing their summer exhibition niets is genoeg (nothing is enough) to a close on saturday the 25th of august with a ‘finissage’ event in the hague and (nearby) scheveningen

hip hip hooray, me studio is seven today… at 8 minutes past eight (p.m. admittedly) the studio was officially launched back in 2005, it’s been a mad ride since then… we have moved offices four times so far and again at the end of september the studio will be relocating to a great new space on the canals in the centre of town (more news soon on that) and there are several new talks, teaching projects and presentations coming up in the next few months

isotope
portugese designer fábio duarte martins first contacted me 2 years back & again yesterday with the latest update on his ‘isonorm revamp’ project isotope, as a heavy user of that particular font i am well aware of its many flaws… something which fortunately fábio is aiming to rectify along with expanding ‘isotope’ into a proper font family, great stuff looking forward to seeing the finished product soon (many thanks for the advance copy too fabio)
