two new books in this week featuring some of our projects: ‘on spot’ event branding with the ‘fotofestival naarden 2011’ identity (by ‘send points’ from china) plus our identity for the ‘binnenkamer’ project in the latest edition of ‘los logos 6’ by gestalten publishers, keep the coming… several more books are due in the near future
just back from the summer break and some great news arrived yesterday: an exciting new corporate identity project for a new client in the cultural sector has been given the go-ahead, looks like the autumn is going to be busy… more news as soon as i am allowed to say who it is
hello there, back again from a sweet break in sunny (but also rainy) ‘tuscany’ and ready to roll…
after doing a presentation plus a day moderating in breda, at the ‘graphic design festival’ in late sept. i will doing a few workshops at the design academy in eindhoven during october and in november i’ve been asked to do a presentation for the event ‘papier hier’ in amsterdam and i’ve just written a column for the event on the subject of ‘tactile’ design… which should be up on their website in a few days
some more news this week, i signed the contracts last week, it’s official: me studio has a new location and a great new office in the ‘jordaan’ from late september (lijnbaansgracht), within earshot of the busiest fire station in the city… time to start packing the boxes and say farewell to the vijzelstraat
first a short break in the next few weeks, so things will be very very quiet on the blog for now… see you soon
the rijksmuseum in amsterdam (which i can see from my window as i write this post) has just unveiled their new identity, designed by irma boom; featuring a newly designed custom font called unsurprisingly ‘rijksmuseum’
