why pad?

i picked up an ipad in the UK last week, largely because i want to get my daughter started early on a medium that will probably be an integral part of her life, it’s great fun to see her trying it out and intuitively discovering what works or doesn’t… the good news is that ‘me studio’ is ipad ready: a ‘two finger’ click in vertical mode fills the browser screen perfectly…

i am also trying out some of the few apps already available, like flipboard, could this be the future? i’ll leave the answer to my daughter…

a quiet place

i just discovered this slightly disturbing & ‘way ahead of it’s time’ arty title sequence for the 1969 film ‘a quiet place in the country’ by elio petri, the actual film (which i haven’t seen) is also apparently less than ordinary…
