myfry

anyone who has read much about the fabulous ‘stephen fry’ will probably already know that he was a really early adapter to the mac (really early) and a tech geek of the best sort, he was also heavily involved in the latest app for his second autobiography ‘the fry chronicles’ for which a rather special app has been developed, as stephen himself explains:

the idea was to make something different than just to reproduce the book in digital form, the ‘myfry’ app is the result and very well executed it is too

a funky light installation entitled ‘comfort #4’ by artists lang & baumann for the ‘nuit blanche’ event in paris in 2010

…9 inflated white tubes connected all windows of two floors of the Ecole Elementaire de Belleville in Paris, with each other. Each tube threaded several windows in a random order. The result was a huge chaotic knot in front of the facade. In the night the lights from the inside were shining through the translucent foil…
