flying books
wonderful ipad app that celebrates the real physical book and paradoxically puts the ipad to good use as an interactive alternative to the real book, well worth a look the app is too, i just had a play with it… (thanks to my wife for the tip x)
tensile strength and invisible seams
i had an inspiring morning talking with product designer and friendly fella ‘rené’ at atelier tejo remy & rene veenhuizen in utrecht about the progress on our project ‘hoofdzaken’, the physical object itself is slowly coming together and we are discussing the typography i wil be applying and how the whole will work and look, an exciting process and another opportunity to experience just how much more difficult it is for a product designer to make something innovative than for a graphic designer…

new work from mister parra and mister bean, if you want you can even put your own head in the cut-out too, great fun… that tune might need a bit of work though… (produced by my dear belgian friends from ‘monodot’, in fact now i think about it that looks like their own office…)
2wice goes ipad
abbott j. miller’s fabulous (& difficult to find) magazine ‘2wice’ has been migrated to the ipad, and very nice it is too, worth a look for anyone interested in the combination of dance & photography (and free too, search the app store)
