covering all issues from the period 1960 through to 1990, featuring all of the (often very spartan) covers and interviews taken from the journal with prominent designers and typographers from the various eras involved

the ‘stone twins’ artwork for ‘collider’ the latest album from amsterdam guitar band ‘moke’ was inspired by
‘…the visualisation of one of the lead ion collisions at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC)… which then in turn, inspired the album title…’

it’s been a tough week, moving office whilst taking care of the current projects has cost a lot of energy, however the new location makes it all worthwhile, here it is: me studio version 4
briefly empty & serene, so enjoy the view it will never look this clean again… the coming two weeks will be very chaotic but hopefully i should be ready to receive guests in the near future…
i bid farewell to the wonderful view of the rijksmuseum & the ‘vijzelstraat’ studio, though having geese sing to me daily from the canal, ain’t bad; a great new office, new neighbourhood and lots of new perspectives to discover… as of today you can find me at the ‘lijnbaansgracht 136’
two interesting ‘tactile’ projects i came across this week: a poster for ‘public bikes’ made with 4,000+ bike chain links by sagmeister & walsh
and an amazing piece entitled technological mandala no. 2 constructed from soldered components and microchips from leonardo ulian, shown below…
