tis the season of ‘top’ everything lists, here’s the rick poynor top 10 design books one, a couple i would agree with but perhaps i should just make my own list instead
interesting experiment from the google sandbox to demonstrate the possibilities of HTML5 and CSS3: an interactive (online) pop-up book, a bit ugly to look at but the technique certainly seems to offer possibilities (via ‘sanne wijbenga’)
my first association was the tokyo series from michael wolf although these candid black & white shots were made much earlier, photographer john schabel captured these final anxious moments before taking off during the 90’s…
a book of this series entitled ‘passengers’ is also due for imminent release (via my mate ‘ian barlow’)
