UK graduates ‘joseph egan’ and ‘hunter thompson’ made the following anamorphic typography installation for a school project… sure it’s been done before, but not always this well

words of wisdom

the obama infographic i made early last year got quite a lot of attention at the time from blogs, however i’ve just come across a similar but much more impressive interactive inaugural infographic from the ‘new york times’ design team, featuring the words of all US presidents right back to washington on a timeline…

fascinating, for example to see bush junior using the word ‘freedom’ so copiously…

txtbomb

…a one-hand-guerillia-tool – a machine not much bigger than a pressing iron – that generates political statements on the fly and immidiately prints them on any flat surface…

funny how an old story (2005) suddenly becomes news… like felix vorreiter’s txtbomber machine, , there are a few more images on his behance

update: i just spotted this great project via a reader’s comment on ‘bright’ who also posted the ‘txtbomb’ story…
