an unexpected message to the world
the catalogue for the ‘messages to the world’ poster exhibition (currently in shanghai) arrived in the post today, a really lovely, thick book and a very impressive collection of posters from all over the world, including the beautiful one shown above by ‘herman van bostelen’ and one of my ballet posters also… one minor problem, my work has been credited by the organisation vidak to a designer called ‘kang byung dong’ and is apparently entitled ‘peace’, my first reaction however was ‘war’
oh well… at least it got published, so well done mr. byung dong…

these are incredible, i find it almost difficult to believe they are for real… pencil sculptures from dalton ghetti, including a complete alphabet
they remind me a bit of those rice paintings: where a name gets written in ink on a grain of rice, but then much more impressive… tip via mister ‘uwe’
