made by the office of charles & ray eames way back in 1977 ‘powers of ten’ was way ahead of it’s time in terms of visualising the scale of things and what it means to ‘add another zero’, it also forms the starting point for a creative competition asking for ‘video responses’ in under two minutes, the criteria being: ‘originality, point of view, quality and engagement’

the ‘tate’ is hosting a large ‘muybridge’ expo and have released a special ‘muybridgizer’ iphone app to mark the occasion, which is nicely made too… a further ‘muybridge’ expo in kingston and an accompanying website provide more info for the curious
nice idea, a screening day where the general public are invited to bring along their ‘family’ films along and have them restored & screened for free, open for all… (dutch only)
