as a crowdsource project to create letterforms and a website to show the entries, ‘yo freckles’ looks like a lot of fun; i am really struggling however, to imagine what possible use the resulting font itself could be as a practical piece of design…

a lovely, minimalistic little publication arrived on the doormat this week, designed by duo ‘niessen de vries’ it takes a look at the working methods of photography duo scheltens & abbenes
1:1:1 is a documentary series in print exploring reproduction and the rationale behind the works of artist and designers, in which printing matter converges with the subject matter, the image with the text, the reproduction with the original and the designer and the printer with the client.
