coffee time
one of the cutest mailings i have ever received from a student: a complete laser-cut 3D coffee percolator, which after a lot of folding and glueing (yes i did take the time) turned into a life-size coffee pot, nicely done and it was even topical to the content of the accompanying letter (screen printed onto the model) from ‘karin hilgenkamp’
unfortunately i am not able to take her as an intern at the moment, but if anybody is looking for a highly motivated intern who managed to get herself noticed… let me know, karin would love to hear from you
weather report
my birthday was one of the five wettest days of the year back in 2010, this i now know thanks to the wonderful ‘weather chart’ series from clever franke, my set arrived in the post last week, beautifully designed and executed these are truly the definition of ‘data porn’ you should get some while stocks last… thanks guys
