read your book(case)

fun looking modular bookcase from italian designers ‘eva alessandrini’ and ‘roberto saporiti‘, it is also highly functional as the letter forms allow for different sized books

new

say hello to my new office, the door of which faces the door of my current office (across the hallway) so it’s going to be an easy move (already underway in fact) this one is at the rear of the building looking out onto lots of trees and a great view of the city centre & the ‘rijksmuseum’ in the distance, plus i get to hear birds singing happily all day instead of car alarms and traffic… i always find that reshuffling from time to time is a healthy thing to do, only the coffee we serve hasn’t changed, see you soon..

1-bit symphony

i was already sold just by looking at the object itself, let alone the idea behind it

ok it might never make it into the top 100 charts but tristan perich’s 1-bit symphony is an engaging piece of design if nothing else…

chinese designer chengyuan wei has a new take on the traditional phone handset
