amsterdam is celebrating mandela’s life this sunday with a huge party, i was asked to make the flags and banners for the event (earlier this year)

mothers & sons (& families)
a new project devised and realised together with photographer leon hendrickx: the first poster (in a series of five) for theater group slapelozen
mothers & sons will be followed by fathers & daughters, brothers & sisters, grandmas & grandpas and finally culminating in the larger production family netherlands
all five posters are parts of the same larger image, cropped down to single out the smaller ‘family’ units…
