posters against death

the poster for tomorrow organisation has comissioned french designer ‘alain le quernec’ to design a poster for them, now i dio understand that the subject is not a pretty one, but i am definitely not a fan of the result… i find it neither appealing or impactful

dutch national ballet, recent posters (late summer 2010)

the top two were shot by ‘ruud baan’ the lower one by ‘ingrid baars’, the set for the first one (made from string was designed and built by me… for more info and images visit here and also here, i am currently working on three new ones also

russian stories

speaking of fairytales; here’s a preview of our latest ballet image (shot by ruud baan) for the ‘a la russe’ production, i will be working on the poster in the coming week… this time no complicated sets or props just dancers and a backdrop for a change

hundert beste plakate

the accompanying book is beautifully designed but the website is absolutely awful: 100 best german, swiss & austrian posters

like most poster overviews these days, the entries seem to fall neatly into three or four categories, typographic, illustrative / graphic and photographic
