the ‘tate’ is hosting a large ‘muybridge’ expo and have released a special ‘muybridgizer’ iphone app to mark the occasion, which is nicely made too… a further ‘muybridge’ expo in kingston and an accompanying website provide more info for the curious

i’ve posted this exhibition before but felt it was worth a second mention, dutch dance company NDT celebrated their past with a series of specially comissioned posters and a website also showing all of their old poster designs… interesting to see which have dated the most…

a hard to find (but i managed somehow) book designed by barlock was also released in conjunction with an exhibition in the hague, almost a year ago

…the only city in the world in which our exhibition encountered this sort of resistance, out of a list that includes much more problematic cities such as Tbilisi, Marrakech, Beirut and 5 cities in Iran including Tehran…
the posters for tomorrow exhibition which tackles the issue of the death penalty this year has fallen foul of a local council in belfast, ireland

it seems people found several of the the posters offensive, personally i find the death penalty quite offensive, but i guess it’s a question of priorities this one…
they are planning on organising an unauthorised street expo in belfast in response, who says posters can’t move people? the final selection will be published online on 10/10/10

recent HKU art academy graduate cathelijn kruunenberg investigated the CMYK colour process in this funky looking project which resulted in a series of posters and tea towels, looks way too nice to wipe the dishes with…

she will be talking about her project along with several other graduates (including ‘fleur thio’ posted earlier today) at the following spellbound evening on the 12th of october in amsterdam
