the actual event was months ago, but this poster still hanging around town by young artist/illustrator stefan glerum caught my eye nontheless… i’m surprised i hadn’t come across his work before, he worked together with renowned dutch artist ‘joost swarte’ (whose influence is clear to see) but he has a surprisingly strong and individual style to his work for his age, worth checking out…

i’m currently working on some promo stuff for the saturday slot at local nightclub ‘the sugar factory’, using some great imagery from young photographer marlous whom i met recently, the client wants to hire and promote young talent which gives me a great opportunity to work with some talented, less established young photographers of which there are fortunately plenty…

the annual ‘holland festival’ poster for this year is hanging around town this week… i didn’t get a chance to check the design credit but think there’s a good chance it is from ‘maureen moren’ who’s designed their posters for the past few years…
incidentally they now have an online archive of all of the previous posters dating back decades to the very first edition in 1948… you may need to reload it several times as it doesn’t seem to work very well…
