this week and probably visible all around town next week..

well actually black is not a colour but the absence of colour, whereas white is the result of all of the colours in a light spectrum combined together, but anyway that’s besides the point…
my friends from fontanel have teamed up with the graphic design museum and the ship of fools gallery in the hague to orgnise a poster show ‘use any two colours except black and white and express something about the contrasts in your work’ was the brief… the result is on show (and for sale) in the hague, opening saturday the 15th of october at 5pm, the prices are delibeartely low (10 euros) and all proceeds go to a worthy charity
here’s a sneak preview of mine (well, sneak… quite a clear preview actually) they asked for one, but i made three because i felt like it…

some early sketch work for a new poster (for a comedy show) time to get out some of those ‘funny’ letters that i’ve had hanging around the studio for a while… ha ha…

beautiful poster designed by herman van bostelen for a charity art auction for japan…

this series of 10 silk-screend posters are part of an exhibition currently running in london, a group of designers (including several of our local ones) were asked to reinterpret song lyrics
…the 10 new pieces provide new visual interpretations of well-loved lyrics from some of the most famous songs ever written including Led Zeppelin’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’, Radiohead’s ‘Karma Police’, New Order’s ‘True Faith’ and Morrissey’s ‘There is a Light That Never Goes Out’…
