the ‘rietveld academy’ graduation show opens this week, it is usually well worth the visit and judging by these fabulous posters and flyers (all uncredited) this year will be no exception, through till the 11th of july…


this fascinating series of images (above kerouac, below neal cassady) taken from beat poet allen ginsberg’s photo diary have been rediscovered in the US and can be viewed here

i am currently rereading some of jack kerouac’s best books (ranked amongst my all-time favourites) at the moment, so it is particularly poignant to see the two images below of kerouac in ’53 on his rise to fame and then barely 10 years later looking very sad, disillusioned and drunk…
