i got a mail from my mate, photographer vincent van gurp who has updated his portfolio with a whole slew of new and funky projects, have a look for yourself… seriously you should hire him, he’s good

another short update: this time on the ”t barre land’ poster i posted about yesterday, the man himself ‘herman’ got in touch to tell me that this was actually a second design after the initial proposal (shown left above) had been rejected by the client… thanks for sharing, tough choice…

a short update: that funky animated gif ‘amalgamation’ i posted last week is credited to michaël reynaud, he has also posted some other noteworthy ones on his ‘google+’ here

theater group ‘t barre land has had a long and very fruitful relationship with poster designer herman van bostelen and this latest one is no exception, the highly unconventional ‘elastic bands’ image is no doubt one of his own making too, he is a very talented fella… he almost always choses the least expected route when choosing his approach to a poster and to my mind, this certainly pays dividends
