a great little documentary i just stumbled upon about ‘factory records’ back in ’88, some real nostalgia here for me
a fascinating ‘behind the scenes’ look at how the hottest record label of the ’80’s started to put an album together from recording, to designing the sleeve and deciding how many copies to press
featuring tony wilson, sean ryder, bez, martin hanett and various odd characters from the notorious ‘factory’ years… i saw ‘the happy mondays’ live a year before this was made in london… and a very surreal experience it was too…
