this quote by desmond morris adorns the pages of a book which i received this week from recent KABK photography graduate ‘marlous van der sloot’, the book entitled ‘de slapende arm’ is a large (A3) sized publication featuring macro shots of skin

i advised marlous whilst she made the book but if photographers can make their own books like this, then designers may become an extinct species, very nice… the print-run is limited to 100 copies which can be ordered directly via marlous…


the public (online) voting for this years dutch ‘cinema poster awards’ is open till late september; it is however, a pretty ‘average’ selection this year in my opinion… the link to the voting page is the red word ‘gestemd’ lower down, if you can find one you like… the above one was my choice
