remarkable campaign/idea from local amsterdam newspaper ‘het parool’, a single sheet poster listing all of the houses where jews lived in amsterdam during the war and from where they were deported to concentration camps, the idea is that readers who discover that their house is on the list, should hang the poster up, it reads: ‘one of the 21.622 houses where jews lived that were deported and murdered during the second world war’ a sort of analogue geo-tagging history project and awareness campaign in one… very nice idea

manchester-based studio ‘united creatives’ have installed a series of 25 hand-painted typographical signs around the city of hull in the UK to mark the 25th anniversary of celebrated poet philip larkin’s death and his attachment to the city

Some, such as the University Library, where he worked as a librarian for 30 years, are obvious, while others, like the Marks & Spencer store on Whitefriargate that inspired his poem The Large Cool Store, are appealingly banal.
