this weekend i visited the rietveld academy graduation show, as usual always worth the trip…the graphics department was perhaps less interesting than in previous years i found, although one student stood out in my memory: sophie rogg

a swiss student who created a series of bright, graphic textile patterns with unlikely titles such as ‘the axis of evil according to george w. bush’ and ‘tax havens’

her prints were not only interesting as an idea but were also beautifully executed in multiple extravagant colours using flags and symbolism




we have just recently completed this poster for the ‘subtone’ label



the annual ‘rietveld graduation show’ posters are almost always fresh and tend to stand out really well; although not my taste perhaps, this year is no exception…
