podium

here is the first part of one of my most recent projects: ‘podium’ which is a gift card system for the performing arts: theater, concerts and festivals… pretty much all endangered arts species in the the netherlands right now

the logo is a restyle of an exsisting one and the typographical illustrations were my solution to the clients request to make a style that didn’t focus specifically on a young or an old target audience… more work to follow in the coming months, we will be making a website and various other material during the summer

the launch poster (shown above in the middle with a ?) should be appearing around the country in the coming weeks

pottermore

…prior to the announcement, our youtube announcement page is the most subscribed channel of all time in the UK and 4th largest in the world of all time… the YouTube channel had 3.4million views across the tease phase in a week and over 2 million views in the first 5 days since launch together with global news coverage, featuring on stations such as ITV, ABC, CNN and leading European news channels…

my friends from london-based studio andersen m got in touch to share their beautiful new stop-motion work for the recently launched harry potter online portal ‘pottermore’, as usual immaculately executed and a fitting style for the subject matter

another new name for me today, also dutch… and she is actually a local amsterdam artist: hinke schreuders who makes these beautiful, fragile embroidered images (or is it simply stitched?)

new work

my latest ‘sssst’ poster in the series for the sugar factory, the image was made by ‘nathalie hennis’, we are also working on a new string typography test for a rather special project (can’t say much at the moment) and the final cd package in the ‘top 100’ series for my artist friend ‘davide bertocchi’ in paris
