not that mister christian borstlap’s ‘bigger plan’ needs any more promotion from me (they are rightly winning awards left right & centre)… but this new identity he has made is just wonderful… check the transitions here

two weeks ago i was invited to the south of france to do a workshop at the ‘ecv’ art school in aix-en-provence with 2nd and 3rd year graphic design students, as part of the workshop (on day one) i asked my students to draw me
partly as a way to explain the fact that we were going to be working without computers (almost) during the week and also to check their drawing skills, designers seem to be less competent at drawing these days is my assumption; in this case i was wrong: most of them were pretty good even, here are a few of my favourites..
last week my latest client, eyewear brand suzy glam launched their first collection in amsterdam although sadly i couldn’t make it to the opening
apart from the logo and identity we also designed their new website
the printed matter for the 2013 edition of the ‘cinéma arabe’ film festival has started to arrive in the studio this week
this year, for various reasons, we decided to go for a revamp of the 2011 design, next year the festival will be changing from a bi-annual to annual event and we will be designing a whole new look, more news soon… the latest ‘sugar factory’ poster also arrived back
