i came across this wonderful identity for a chain of fish shop in britain, dating back to the post-war era, which mike dempsey unearthed on his blog, designed by largely forgotten british modernist jock kinneir

an amusing and ironic brandbook for the man with the white beard, from the quietroom… these jokey things are often poorly done but this one is actually almost believable

some minimalist old-school modernism in this campaign for sony ericssson, beats anything the rest of the mobiles are doing purely on clarity and singularity of choice
