can i take your coat sir?

…installation of 200 stolen coats and jackets, taken over a 10 year period from London pubs and clubs.

Each coat and it’s contents were numbered and catalogued. Displayed for reclamation to anyone who could give the correct details of the theft / pocket contents. Each coat was tagged with it’s catalogue number and a personal diary entry made on the night the items were stolen…

enjoy neon

i came across this wonderful piece on the CR blog from a while ago (must have missed it)… about the old coca cola neon sign on picadilly circus, london from the mid 1950’s and how it ws made, great stuff… there is also a link to their official company archive website, but its awful stick with the CR piece i say…

probably only really of interest to ‘new order’ geeks like me this one: a really great design by former saville assistant ‘howard wakefield’ for a magazine cover, all of the new order LP designs reduced down to 9×9 pixel thumbnails, a smart and very apt tribute to peter saville’s work…

gold

i have just completed the complete set of posters for the coming 2011-2012 season for the dutch national ballet, all images were shot by ‘erwin olaf’ and the posters will be printed in black & white with metallic gold typography
