two posters i made for the ‘sugar factory’ this week

we have just completed a small identity project for the dutch national ballet, for their newly formed fan club for kids ‘jump’
the idea is to make a varied series of logos with scribbled ‘jumps’ drawn with the help all of the young kids who join the club

fascinating pitch film made by mister ‘saul bass’ to present his new corporate identity for ‘bell telecom’ to the board of directors
the embed function doesn’t work very well so see here to watch the 24 minute long video, worth a watch… as ‘garech stone’ (who sent me the link) pointed out, this kind of presentation (and wry humour) beats a keynote show anyday… the revamp for bell was the biggest rebranding of its kind ever including 135,000 vehicles and 22,000 buldings amongst many other things..

back in 2008-2009 photographer ‘eric klein wolterink’ made a series of clinical images of kitchens of amsterdam residents, the panorama-like images are composites made of separate images, in each case enough as were necessary to capture the entire plane of cupboards and drawers
closer inspection reveals a plethora of vanishing points & odd disjointed perspectives within each image, the series can also be viewed in (zoomable) detail here and the collection was also published in a book designed in 2011 by hans gremmen

a new project by my mate photographer alex ten napel is due to open at the ‘eduard planting gallery’ in amsterdam in january

portraits of twelve year old children combined with a series of short interviews with questions such as what they would do if they were president of the USA… me studio has made several projects for (and with) alex in the past (see ‘me work’)
the projects can be found under these following links: the alzheimers project, the water portraits project, the in holland project and a campaign for the city of amsterdam
