a fascinating new series based on the original ghosts of world WW II project
this time focussing on amsterdam and in particular as seen through the eyes of anne frank, very poignant if you recognise the places featured in the images, there is also mention of an app called anne’s amsterdam, but which doesn’t (yet) appear to be in the app store
codex seraphinianus

The book is approximately 360 pages long (depending on edition), and written in a strange, generally unintelligible alphabet…
i had never heard of this fascinating book before, although the morphing crocodile image i have seen before, see also this article

how brilliant is this? the the vegetable orchestra makes music with some rather unconventional instruments…
