these amazing little critters (with a plughole for a face) are known as tardigrades or ‘water bears’ and they are the first living organism known to man that is able to withstand “sub-zero temperatures, unrelenting solar winds and an oxygen-deprived space vacuum” or put simply: walking in space without a big suit and helmet on
well ok not bad, but i bet he doesn’t do very well trying to pick up women in bars with a face like that…

talking of arab spring…. very strange this one: the annual ‘world press’ exhibition poster features a gruesomely disfigured young arab woman this year, designer ‘franklin de bekker’ discovered that one of the posters hanging in amsterdam had actually been hand-retouched by somebody using paint to replace her missing nose… wow

only this time the theme is different and probably a familiar sight to anyone who works in a design studio, art directors hovering in front of screens… genius
