why pad?

i picked up an ipad in the UK last week, largely because i want to get my daughter started early on a medium that will probably be an integral part of her life, it’s great fun to see her trying it out and intuitively discovering what works or doesn’t… the good news is that ‘me studio’ is ipad ready: a ‘two finger’ click in vertical mode fills the browser screen perfectly…

i am also trying out some of the few apps already available, like flipboard, could this be the future? i’ll leave the answer to my daughter…

work in progress

two projects that are currently underway in the studio: the ‘façade’ book which is going to be a lot of fun making, recycling all of the elements that we have made so far, yet again…

and a topsy-turvy book for photgrapher & friend ‘paul d. scott’ on young dutch gymnasts (the dutch word being ‘turners’) portrayed in their homes with two identical covers and a confusing upside down orientation that even got us baffled… more news soon
