i saw this on several news sites yesterday: people in spain are using euro banknotes to send messages to the government and bankers
all not very friendly, but certainly well deserved insults, it could unintentiuonally perhaps be a great idea for a campaign…

as a symbol for the upcoming belfast festival in ireland, artist jorge rodriguez-gerada has created the image of a small girls’ face in a ploughed field, using just soil and sand; the installation entitled ‘wish’ covering some 11 acres of land the image will only be visible for a short time as the wet weather is already decaying the image…


…keep everything in scale. From the thickness of the shingles down to the wallpaper design and door knobs, everything must be in the proper relationship to each other. I can’t stress that enough…

it’s not difficult to see why model-maker michael paul smith enjoys his work so much… in fact his ‘own world’ is quite similar to that of my wife, see also his flickr collection for more examples, beautiful stuff
