the woolworths chain (australia) have just updated their logo (not really my thing this one) however, apple computers seem to have decided that it’s plagiarising their mark and have filed a lawsuit…. what? exactly how does this look similar? i find this almost as ridiculous as t-mobile attempting to claim the colour magenta… what a load of bullshit

yes… really, UK designer ‘adrian shaughnessy’ who i met last night has his own radio show on a local UK station (resonance FM) that broadcasts interviews and talks with graphic designers
there are a number of archive editions online and a new series in the pipeline shortly…
manipulation
‘en publique’ are a new name to me and i really like this poster of theirs, it is for a series of lectures by dutch novelist ‘arnon grunberg’ at a dutch university on the subject of ‘manipulation and power’ the solution: two separate posters of his face divided in two and set at odd angles so that the posters can be combined together to clone and manipulate his face in different ways… good work guys, i really like it…
