here’s a little plug for my mate ‘odilo’ graphic designer (by day) and lead singer (by night) his band ‘coparck’ have released their 4th album a dog & pony show, album art by odilo himself…

the british design council has recently uploaded and enormous archive of it’s design objects collection to an online archive…

the host site called ‘vads’ also has a number of other interesting collections on offer, such as ‘spanish civil war posters’ and ‘netherlands decorated books’, have a look here for lots of stuff, i will have a good rummage around here when i find the time….

i already liked this french illustrator’s work even before i’d seen it, just because he’s got such a funky name… the work happens to be very funky too

some incredible ‘constructed’ photographic images from german born artist thomas demand who recreates images of familiar scenes (like the whitehouse oval office) using paper and card…
