on the eve of our eviction from the wonderful ‘duintjer CS’ building in the heart of amsterdam, my office neighbours mediamatic have organised one final show with the fitting title ‘pièce de résistance’ on the theme of resistance and subversion, this striking poster for the show depicts a series of brick types catalogued as if for a product brochure, very nice indeed…

some of our projects will be featured in a new design book ‘type player 2’ due to be released later this spring, the featured projects are the ‘suikerdepôt’ identity and also the ‘generations’ string typography poster
…an idea for a series with honest logos, revealing the actual content of the company, what they really should be called. Some are cheap, some might be a bit funny, some will maybe be brilliant. I don’t know… the one shown above is the best in my opinion…
i’ve been invited to contribute two new projects to the third issue of a new asian design magazine touch, the projects are the first season of posters for the amsterdam music theater, see related posts here and here, plus the new ‘cinéma arabe’ poster and identity (no yet posted to me work, hopefully this week)
