…if there is such a thing in photography as a “decisive moment”, the term coined by Henri Cartier-Bresson, then there must also be the opposite – the casual, corner of the eye event. These, almost unnoticed events are what photographer André Thijssen captures…

my mate andré is having a little show at the ‘KK outlet’ in london starting in a fortnight, pop by if you are around… he’s the guy with the funny looking dark framed glasses… oh wait that’s me isn’t it?

the BBC reports on some errors in the new ‘times atlas of the world’, redrawing the coastline of greenland to show the receding ice levels, but incorrectly it would seem…
